Sunny Jain’s Wild Wild East to tour Pakistan

Thanks to the US Embassy in Islamabad, Sunny Jain’s Wild Wild East will tour Pakistan, presenting concerts, workshops and outreach programs at public universities November-December 2022, as well as headlining Music Mela in Islamabad.

This tour is a homecoming of sorts for Jain - this year marks the 75th anniversary of the independence and partition of India/Pakistan. His family was among the millions of families migrating across borders in 1947 as they left Western Punjab. He will be the first in his family to return to the ancestral land since then.

The band is Ben Parag (vocals), Alison Shearer (alto saxophone), Ryan Dugre (guitar), Almog Sharvit (bass), and Jain on drumset and dhol.
